Roish, another day of kitesurfing, and it was brilliant. I've crashed so many times though, and I haven't crashed that hard ever I think.
I arrived to Dolly on Saturday only to find 2 kites from PM up in the air and the whole place flooded. What was I doing there exactly when the wind was N?
Brian and Finn arrived to refresh my navigational memory with some nice Americano (I can't decide if I like kitesurfing or coffee more). Anyhow, Sutton we went to. Actually they did... I got stuck at the lovely Dolly traffic lights, and although it's only a kilometer or two away it took me 30 minutes to get to Sutton! I think it takes the same to walk! Damn L-Micra drivers!
Sutton was empty! Only Conor setting up his 9 (I tink) - then comes Brian, Tony, Finn, Meself, Caroline and Ben + few others. It was just like the auld times (gosh I'm so bold)! But honestly - so good - no learners or anything, perfect wind and enough space for us all. To complete the set Michael (or MKR as Flickeariates know him) came over to shoot us (literally) with his cool cam. And it was the best ever day out! Although it was gusty and very choppy - as Sutton always is - so choppy it was hard to do any trick - but I guess it's good for practise.
I wiped out so bad - doing a double backroll - did one and a half - lost control and landed head first with kite into the water and stuff - Conor saw it and said it was the best trick of the day :D Cool me. I was trying to do a few tricks - there was a camera man too - what do you do? But then everyone likes to put up pictures of my signature look :D Thanks Michael.
